EOTC

EOTC covers all events and activities that occur outside the classroom, both on the school grounds and off-site. This includes sports. All class teachers are encouraged to provide extension and enrichment opportunities for their students and, as a result, our students participate in a wide range of learning opportunities within and outside the school grounds and , on occasion, outside school hours.

 

Our school uses a process to identify and manage risk for all activity types. As part of enrolment we request consent to a blanket consent agreement to enable students to participate in any EOTC activity where blanket consent is approved by the Ministry Guidelines.

 

Any events off-site with a higher risk, out of school hours, overnight (multi-day) require separate consent.
