Principal's Welcome

Nau mai, haere mai ki Ngaaruawaahia High School

Welcome to Ngaruawahia High School – a caring, inclusive, values-based school where we nurture a culture of learning through our school values of whanaungatanga, manaakitanga, kotahitanga and rangatiratanga.

Ngaruawahia High School is a whaanau focussed kura that is committed to the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi. Ngaruawahia High School provides a place for students to be part of a community committed to enabling students to reach their full potential as individuals.

Our values based education at Ngaruawahia High School promotes a strong sense of identity and personal success in all areas. Students will experience a rich learning environment that focuses on developing the whole child.

At Ngaruawahia High School, our students are at the ‘heart’  of what we do. We provide an environment where learning is relevant, encompasses a wide range of curriculum areas and helps students to develop important life skills for the future.

As a small school, we strive to know and understand all of our students in order to best meet their educational needs and support them to reach their goals.
